Heard another Rumor

Looking over the lists, came to the same conclusion that you did wlayton. Think with the talent in Athens right now, and I mean this, we could very easily be in the top 10-15. Know that Coach Richt is now the focus of the entire program, can't afford any more hiccups such as happened with the appointments on the defensive side of the ball. Coach Richt in my opinion stepped outside of the circle when he allowed the Dawgs to go down defensively.

Not going to say too much about the offense, but I think I saw some solid performances from some of the \"rookies\" at the end of the year. The group coming back next season has experience, and loads of talent in the receiving corps. Coach Richt proved at FSU that he knew how to move the ball down field. With the backs, receiving corps, this incoming red shirt freshman should have few problems making the offense work. Know that the young man is very intelligent.

Couple of special athletes putting toe to leather on this team also.

Buc, I am located in the worst possible place to be right now. Knoxville. Everyday co-workers and friends remind me what happened on that cloudy October day. Just waiting to see what I predicted a couple of months ago. The lame train getting put on probation.

Don't look much in to anything that I hear except for from Jimmy Hines. He reported that UGA was going to offer Smart a contract expected to be around 1 million. That is why I ask. Know that you and wlayton have some inside sources.

AllDawgs5, have really enjoyed many of your posts. Beautiful country around Knoxville and surrounding area . . . . sorry about the pollution that came in from California . . .:woohoo:

P.S. wlayton is the dude that has the connection . . . .

It's a business.
You're worth what the market bears.
To be where we are, with the talent we have, is ridiculous.

BUMP!!
Coach Richt has to step up 2010 averagedawg. Who is to blame or question associated with this program. Really don't want to hear that UGA does not have the money.

Coach Richt was not sure that he could handle the head coaching job at UGA when offered. He took the job, did well, proved that he was the right choice.

TIME WAITS FOR NO PERSON. . . . averagedawg, your answers are usually short and to the point and always on target. IT IS A BUSINESS.

KS will be offered the job but as much as I try to rationalize him coming, he certainly would be taking a HUGE risk considering he's in a safe haven right now and will definitely get a HC job in the next 2-3 years ANYWAY. My sources don't think he will go anywhere. Hope they are wrong. Believe that's why CMR wants to talk with Ellis Johnson.

One factor in the favor of KS making a move back to Athens is the fact of the average tenure of coaches under Nick Saban. 2-3 years is usually the max as his assisants usually cannot tolerate working for him any longer or he gets hem noticed and moved on to bigger and better things.

He gets results, but the word out there is that he is a pain in the arse to work for.
