JIM DONNAN ...Fired before a BS bowl...stayed to coach, was obviously very disinterested in coaching...which was painfully obvious to the players...Wore a ridiculous shirt, as opposed to school colors....our perfermance was sub-standard... Much of the play by play centered on the coaching \"crisis\"...We were a laughing stock in a very public forum...

As for our current situation....Geeze,...After two/three years of agnst, vitrol and ill will, we FINALLY get what we DEMANDED and are surprized when they take the only real option available?!?! Do you honestly believe that CMR didn't know this would occur? Why else would CMR have announced BEFORE the bowl game?? Seriously folks, the entirity of this thread is rather disingenuous......

GO DAWGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NC_DAWG, discarding all of the prior talk about our defensive situation, which at this point is in the past, certainly hope that we will get to see these Dawgs show some of the talent we know exists.

A&M is not a pushover for sure, they will come to play as they always do. Mike Sherman in my opinion is a very talented coach, and he will be out to take some scalps.

At this point, it will be very interesting to see how much these Dawgs have learned and retained over the years. Film is always exchanged between schools, or that used to be the case,so here is hoping that we are not totally lining up in the dark.

As far as Coach Richt, could not agree more that he knew this would happen. Personally think that CMR already has the stars aligned to reach the goals that are expected from the head coach of a University like the one we support.

Feelings of course always run the full gambit, especially on a board such as this. Some of us take it a bit too far sometimes, it comes with frustration and the love for UGA. You have been here longer than any, seen much and your opinions are always noted and read. I was always taught to respect my elders, but never to follow without keeping my eyes looking forward, ears open, and an open mind. You have my respect. Go Dawgs!
