Loyalty

I guess our great dc and his assistants really showed cmr the same loyalty by deciding not to stay on for the bowls. CMR showed loyalty to all of them and they return the favor by leaving him out to dry. Real class act that wm. I'm glad they left but hopefully cmr learned from this and will surround himself with football people and not friends. I really hoped we would be in a closer bowl so I could travel but just can't make the independence bowl. Go Dawgs. Hopefully we will travel well.

When I was fired from my job several years ago, I sure didn't hang around and perform for that company. Why should coaches be any different.

There were several posts on this board that stated if we performed as those coaches were performing we would all be fired.

It's not being disloyal, it's about finding another job.

I get what you're saying, DFIT, but when you were fired, was it by your college roommate and best friend who had been carrying your underperforming ass for 2-3 years? I have said on here before, I don't care whether they coach or not, but I think they owe it to CMR. And WM has plenty of time to find a job--Jr High Schools will be hiring gym teachers well in to the summer.

My point here is that many on this board used the private sector to wonder why CMR was keeping CWM.
Taking that step forward, why should they coach the bowl game?

AND, if they are bad enough to be fired? Do we want them coaching the D for this game?

I didn't want them coaching the last 12.
