Yeah, as a UGA fan......I'm not throwing any stones at any school.

Second time he's been arrested, one a felony? Kick him off the team.

What the arrest reports and statements from UGA and most stories won't mention is a particularly difficult upbringing for Robinson. It won't mention that he spent the majority of his youth in and out of foster care and group homes. It won't mention how he lived in nine different places between the ages of eight and 18. It won't mention how his father was murdered when he was too young to even remember it happening or how he spent countless hours caring for his younger brothers and sisters -- more than a dozen of them. It won't mention how he went from an awful school situation in Alabama to one of the best schools in Indiana and worked to get his grades up enough in a two-year span to qualify for admission to Georgia.

This is not to excuse his behaviour. Coach Garner and the staff do try to help these young men, sometimes it just does not work.

Coach Richt will handle this as he did the D coaches, with class. Thinking of what is best for the program, the team, and the player.

I think almost every football team in America is going to have some players from difficult or impoverished backgrounds. When you grow up surrounded by bad decisions it is a lot easier to make them yourself. Since athletics is a great way for kids to work their way out of a bad past then it's only natural to have a few more hard cases than normal. But only a few. If you introduce too many hard cases too fast then you're overloading the good and replicating rather than eliminating the bad environment.

It isn't the individual cases that is getting the Florida press in a dander. It is the volume of cases in a single program in a short period of time. Imagine that 24 people from your place of work were arrested and faced legal charges in the last four years. Wouldn't that seem like a lot to you?

I sincerely doubt that there have been 24 cases under Richt's entire history, much less just four years.

Back to the regularly scheduled programming of debate on the SEC and National championship games--here's a question--

If Texas happens to lose, (which I agree is unlikely), and Cincinnati beats Pitt tomorrow, will they, and should they, jump TCU for the second spot? I think they should, based on their competition. Thoughts?

Hey Yall, I guess I will have to pull for Alabama and Clemson tomorrow, It would be great for those insects to lose 2 in a row. And watch the gator fans faces if Fla loses. I am glad Tblow and Charlie strong are both leaving, I have a feelin they will miss both of them a whole lot more than they think they are going to. Especially strong, Defense wins championships!! GOO DAWGS!!!
