Anyone besides gatorstrong and gatorinGA pulling for UF?

Also, who do you guys want to see play the SEC champ in the title game? I'd kind of like to see Texas lose so a non-BCS conference team can play for the NC.

BAMA-TCU would be cool to see.

Yeah, although I really like McCoy, I, too, would like to see a Bama/TCU game. I think it would be very interesting although really don't believe they could \"hang\" for 4 quarters......BUT ????

I am cheering for Gators.

It was not an easy decision. On the one hand Urban Myers runs a morally bankrupt program and if they win then his plague may spread into other schools. On the other hand I don't think Bama can beat Texas and the SEC has an undefeated BCS record to protect. It is a tough, tough choice. But in the end I'm going to pull for Gators because they can beat Texas.

A local Florida paper has pointed out that since 2005 the Gator football team has had 24 charges. Not just arrests, but actual legal charges brought against players. So the momentum is building within state for the Gators to clean up their act and start running a college football team instead of a prison release program. There is some hope that even though Myers is morally bankrupt there are others who control his paycheck and they may pressure him to at least act like he has class. I think that tipped the scale for me.

It was the Orlando paper that first started investigating how many UF players have legal problems. UF is getting a bad reputation down here south of the frost line. You've got to remember down here people are split between UF, FSU, and UM. It means a lot to some parents to think that their kids won't be hanging out with thugs. Enough that they will urge their kids to play football elsewhere. It's already to the point that I think the 2010 recruiting class won't be as good as hoped for. I don't see it getting better either. It's almost as if the Gator fan base is more interested in denying a problem exists than in fixing it.
