wlayton, that's because Brantley is a QB at all. Tebow is a fullback with a fairly good arm and GREAT leadership ability, surrounded by the best talent in the country. Make no mistake: you put Tebow on a Mississippi State or an Iowa State team and he's not even going bowling.

dapolla/wlayton reminds me a lot of Ronnie Brown that plays for the Miami Dolphins. Strong, and some of the other pieces that folks in the pros look for in a situational back. Looking forward to the next NFL draft and see where TT goes. News folks, Brantley is a really good QB.

Dapolla I agree, although he might fit in Paul Rhodes system at Iowa St. Dont know how much you follow them, but he would fit in that offense(much like the offense at florida). Thats neither here nor there. I get your point and agree. For me I am very much looking forward to Brantley, and how he can open up the offense, much like Alex Smith when UM was at Utah. But like wlayton said they will need some big time recievers. I would like to see them give the ball to Demps and Rainey more on the corners in space, but thats me. I wont take any more board space with this Fla talk. Sorry guys.

Good football talk is good football talk when those doing the talking are knowledgable.
P.S. I still can't stand Florida. lol. You just can't teach this Ol'Dawg new tricks. Much respect for you Gator fans that know what \"respectful conversation\" is all about.

We hate all gators---
the problem has been building for the last several years --not just this season.
Also, a good coach will have a back up plan expecting to loose his stars every year. Also, I feel confident that our three stars would have stuck around with us if they felt like they had a chance to go to the NC. Think that those guys knew something smelled funny in Athens!
The problem with this season is that nothing has been done to fix the problem. We should be getting ready for 2010 right now and looking to 2011! I just wish we were playing more of those talented freshmen that we have so that we don't have to suffer thru 2010 to get to a \"maybe\" good season in 2011.
If SS or UM had a qb that has trown as many picks as cox has--they would definetly not tell the whole world that he represented the \"best\" chance that we have to win our remaining games. COx would be sending in signals from the sideline and watching a talented freshman, under any other head coach!
