What's next?

Golferdawg, I would not be so sure that the Tenn Tech game is a sure win. UGA always plays down to the level of the other team. This game will be close going into the 4th quarter, I mean like 24 to 21. The way our defense plays, any team can keep the ball from us just by completing passes across the middle. We give a 5 to 10 yard cusion. On top of that, we can not tackle, I so so sick and tired of seeing a UGA player tring to tackle by throwing his shoulders into someone or knock the out of bounds. I have been saying this for the past 3 weeks, if no coaching changes are made, we will have the same if not worse results next year.

swamp, i feel the same way. we had a chance to land Muschamp a couple of years ago when willie turned down the FL Atlantic job.. It was noted he called CMR and wanted to coach at UGA... but with the talent we have and all the young players on the field someone has to step up next year. Not coaches but players have to step up and lead this team. not since DJ was QB have we had a team that played together more than them!!! Boys that wasn't coaching, that was players stepping up and taken control... I really thought this team was going to be special with no off season BS thats happened in the past but boy was I wrong.. They are special but in the very wrong special I was looking forward to seeing.


Let's say Kirby comes home to coach.. does that make us better???? Gives us hope for sure and I look at Knoxville and thats all they had coming into the season was HOPE!

To make this season worth while is that players beside Curran need to step up and lead but no one on this team has had a leader lead them and that scary if you ask me!

Look Yall, I agree with yall, But not getting rid of cmr, everyone else can go on the coaching staff, but CMR has done more here accept for Vince Dooley. This is his first nightmare season and yes it sux!! I hate this feelin!! But CMR will bring us back once he gets some real coaches here. But with out a doubt I hope I never see JC under center here again, with tenn tech coming in, it is a perfect time to start our future QB. whom ever it will be. We need to also bench a lot of the seniors who arent performing on D and off. This season is over, time to prepare for next yr!!! I dont want to see Evans either he is terrible, Rambo should be playing. I am just counting down the games till next yr and holding my nose cause PEE UU we stink!! UGA 7 has laid a big turd!! And CMR will have to clean it up next yr!! Anyway limey I agree with you, and also got a laugh over your HS uniform comment, lol I didnt think I could laugh tonight after that pathetic performance. But GOOO DAWGSSS!!!! I always support UGA

But Richt refuses to acknowledge that there is even a problem with the coaches. He continuously defends them by making excuses. And he gives his seniors preference over younger players regardless of performance. I love Richt and would hate to see him go, but for the good of the program, I think he needs to be issued an ultimatum--get rid of your underperforming coaches (pretty much all of them) or take them with you to your next stop--because he won't ever get rid of them on his own.

If CMR begins to criticize his coaches at this point, then we are in real trouble. And he knows it. This is a terrible football team, we all can see that. CMR talks about turnovers and penalties being the biggest cause.

IMO he is being politically correct and trying to keep the team together. Both coaches and players. I hope he makes changes when the season ends. That is when this needs to be done. Not in the middle of the season.

Bobo has been put in the position of having to overcome a terrible defense and his play calling is suffering because of it. Martinez is the one coach on this team that has demonstrated the efficacy of the \"Peter Principle.\"
