Swampdawg has a point about back to basics. We can all want CWM and CMB gone but if our players are not improving in fundamental skills, is it the coordinators that have failed or is it position coach? I think CMR must evaluated the players we have and determine if they are capable of improving or did they peak during their high school career. As a dawg fan you hope the the 4 star and 5 star recruits and signees are capable of being coached and improving. If they can and are willing to improve, that suggest we need coaches with the skill set to help them improve. Question, do we have a position coaching staff that is able to evaluate and then teach the players the skill to improve? Raw talent is great but it is exposed for what it is by the tier 1 teams. If our players can't execute the coordinators game plan, then keep the scheme simple and execute to the extreme. Poor execution and completion of the drill will kill the best planned scheme. Teach our players to execute the design and finish the drill. Measure their success from that point.
