Ok, Buc, now I'm going to pull what you tried to pull in your 1st post but be a little more definitive.
I would call ONE meeting with the defensive staff except Garner, he wouldn't attend. Then in that ONE meeting, I would fire everyone in that ONE room.

Buc, here's my thought process (I know you didn't want a complete post but...)
I would fire every member of the defensive staff except for Garner. I think that Jancek is particularly bad. I would conduct a thorough analysis of potential defensive coordinators, and hire the best one that I could get to take the job. AND I would speak to Damon about increasing the pay for the assistant coaches. We are below market right now, and if we’re going to hire the best, we need to be one of the best in terms of pay as well. The athletic budget can handle it. Tennessee is on the path to becoming a force again. This is not because of Lane Kiffen, but rather because of the people that Lane Kiffen has been able to hire because of the money the athletic department agreed to spend for assistant coaches.
