wlayton, you're right. DawgnLA, you're wrong. Houston DID lose, and they ARE out of the top 25. Which is even stupider, considering they beat the #5 Oklahoma State Cowboys AND a ranked Texas Tech team.

I actually went back and looked after posting and saw that Houston did drop out. Not much sense being made with the top 25. This will become more of an issue I'm sure as the BCS rankings start to evolve using these whacked out rankings.

It will be very interesting to see how much shuffling will happen once the BCS rankings come out. Geez, Boise ST should drop considerably with their strength of schedule.

I didn't think they took strength of schedule into account anymore, the way they no longer take margin of victory into account. The computer rankings that feed into the BCS take SOS into account, but the BCS itself doesn't. And clearly (look at USC any year, or Penn State this year, or Florida last year) the human polls don't take strength of schedule into account at all.
