Does anyone really think it is a good idea to change the D coordinator during the season? Here's hoping CMR doesn't.
Well, since I was the Negative Nancy of the day and posted this rant, I feel obligated to answer your question DFIT.
NO
I should have been more clear in my initial diatribe, my bad. When I said it was \"PAST TIME for CMR to take the reins and ATTEMPT to correct our defense\" what was running through my mind was that sometime between Jan. 2, 2009 and the start of Spring practice would have made a lot of sense. You know, that thing they call the OFFSEASON when most programs make coaching changes.
BUT thankfully, I'm not the HC at UGA, just another passionate Dawg fan. Regardless, I'll be raising holy cain every time our defense takes the field on Sat. night and will be cheering for one Coach Willie Martinez as well. After all, he is OUR coach and that makes him worth cheering for regardless of whether or not I feel he is the best man for the job. I'll cheer for him Sat. night and even if ASU hangs 100 on our Dawgs I'll be cheering for him all the same come 3:30 on Oct. 3 vs LSU. I'll just be doing a whole lot more praying for God to grant CWM some wisdom when dialing up plays to stop the other team.
I truly am sorry to be sooooo negative Dawg fans...this kind of negativity really is out of character for me but that is and remains my 2 cents; take it for what it's worth which ain't much.
HUNKER DOWN DAWGS!
