I still can't understand why you would play 8-10 yards off if they are just gonna keep burning us up on it. I really hope our secondary comes to play...escpecially evans! He needs to do something and do something quick because my confidence is fading...
While I'm no defensive guru, I suspect much of this has to do with USC's talented WR and TE. I believe the gameplan was to concede the short dinks rather than have them go verticle...With the hope that we could put some pressure on Garcia...something that became impossible when Rod Battle went down!...Spurrier is a freakin pro with the short passes...and this game fell right into the old ball coaches area of expertise....

Well, I am glad we threw a fistpunch right into the ol ball coach's face! Any ideas of what Ark game plan will be? I am afraid that they will try and take adv of evans b/c imo he hasn't proven anything.
