If we must lose, let us lose early in the season ! Yet another unfair fact is losses near the end of the season seem to carry more weight that the early season loss (even if it was OSU and they were ranked # 9 and we were #13)Also some of our \"cupcakes\" are a much higher grade of cake than some other teams. Georgia Southern has what, 6 Nationsl Championships? Marshall is no longer 1-AA and they had 8 conference championship,2 National Championships and 5 straight bowl wins with Players like Randy Moss, Chad Pennington, Bryan Leftwich. Sure Western Carolina is a cupcake but some of the teams are quality. I am blessed to me married to a Pharmacy Dawg but ask Michigan fans if it Appalachian State ( back to back to back National Champions) can plaY in the big house !You may say it was an off year for the Wolverines, i say ASU broke their pride (yes, i am a graduate of ASU ) yes, we have a ways to go as a team. I think we have the player and i think CMR is going to have to get some new assistants. We arent ready to play, we are not making susccessful adjustments and i dont think it is a lack of talent, i think it is a lack of coaching and perhaps a lack of chemistry.
