Schedule Dolly Madison and Hostess

Yes, CUPCAKES , just what UF fills their early schedule with and we should as well. When we play tough non-conference teams whether we win or lose , we dont get the respect we deserve for playing tough teams. OK State got a nice jump in the polls from beating us even though we were the lower ranked team and we drop like a rock from losing to a team that moved from #9 to #5 , we drop 8 spots which makes no sense. The SEC is tough enough, playing tough teams seems to generate injuries notrespect and a W is a W . The media makes me sick at times.You try to do the right thing and i think you get kicked in the teeth. Bring on Western Carolina and fire CWM !!!! GO DAWGS !!!!! P.S. We fill Sanford Stadium whether we play Arizona State or Alabama State and we get the same amount of credit with polls. When we get our act together we will show these stupid pollsters the have the talent in Athens !

I think the SEC needs to make a rule that you cant schedule more than one Div I-AA team a year, what does florida have, 3 this year?

I agree with Elvis and quite frankly (even if it makes me sick to say it) URBAN MEYER...what is the point is having a very hard schedule? so hard you cant even make it through it. look at OhioSU..they never have hard schedule's, but how many years have they made it to the big game. How about FL? Did they have a hard schedule last year? what about their other NC year? How about USC? when is the last time they had a hard schedule? point is...going through your schedule undefeated is way easier than having a monster schedule and hoping for only 1 loss. Look at the injuries we have had the past 2 year. it happens more often that not when you play agains all of these BIG boys playing in real systems. We do have the talent to make it through our schedule with 0,1,2 losses we just dont have to coaches! so get used to being average!!!

I'll say it again, it doesn't matter when the Dawgs can't seem to get it together. OK State should have been a win, period. Yes, they scored 41 points against SC. But if they can't settle down and focus, what's the point?

Strength of schedule according to Sagarin:

2006
UF = 8
UGA = 24

2007
UF = 3
UGA = 23

2008
UF = 4
UGA = 11

2009 (predicted)
UF = 34
UGA = 7

So other than this year, UF has had a very difficult schedule. This year's stinks and if UGA beats LSU the week before we play them, then we may play ZERO top 15 ranked teams this year. Hopefully UGA can keep on winning. Of course, if the Gators do win all their games and make it to the SECCG, they may get killed since they have not been tested. Personally, I still think we loose to LSU in a few weeks.

Florida scheduled Miami and Florida State last year. It wasn't their fault that both teams now stink to high heaven.

GatorinGA, our schedule would, I think, have been rated higher had Arizona State not lost to UNLV just before us, and to EVERYONE ELSE after us. So we can't be blamed for that, either.
