The Gamecocks ran 83 offensive plays on us and we won the game.
How unusual is that?

Right on averagedawg. Numbers are crazy.

Just some quick advice for Bobby Patrino for this next week's game: advise Ryan Mallett to just take a three to five step drop and toss the ball over the middle to the man running the inside curl route. Apparently, our defense can't stop this play. How many times did Garcia hit the inside route right over the middle on Saturday? I was getting so angry at the game because our coaches couldn't pick up on this and do something about it. Any thoughts?

Everyone is saying D# WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR OFFENSE? IN THE SECOUND HALF AGAINST SC WE GAVE THEM A PICK AND THE HIGH SNAP THAT TURNED INTO THE SAFETY.. BUT I WILL SAY THE FIRST HALF WAS GOOD WE SCORED FAST AND D# DID OK IN THE SECOUND QUARTER. THE SECOUND QUARTER LOOKED LIKE SOME DAWGS THAT CAN TAKE OUT THE GATORS!! GO DAWGS

Too many times Saturday night our defense was looking to Martinez for the coverage as the Gamecocks were snapping the ball.
Often times we looked lost. The chess game between CWM and SS was clearly won by Spurrier.
We have the talent. Curran willed us to victory. Thank God for Rennie. We need a defensive battle plan.
And a defensive coach with the acumen to implement it.

Even worse, often I saw Prince Miller -- who seems to be captaining the defense -- yelling at players about coverage, turning back to the O-line, then immediately turning back to the D to yell signals again because they didn't understand him or didn't hear him the first time. The D is not communicating with each other, and we have people in our defensive backfield who just don't understand how to play the game at the collegiate level. No knocks on our D-line, who are all vets, but the secondary is lost. Not all of that is scheming; go back and watch tape of Prince Miller trying desperately to get these pups to understand what the offense is going to do.

Good post averagedawg.

Apparently we have a confused defensive backfield, add to that a coach that has really screwed up the kicking game. Reminds me so much of the current administration in Washington. Appointments that really go against all that is right. This will not go away, folks that care won't permit that.
