How 'Bout Dem SEC Champion Dawgs!?

I seem to recall every single one of you singing praises about Mike Bobo, after the huge Virginia Tech comeback and for the past two years. And after one game, you all throw it in his face?

I hear what you are saying TopDiggity, but these guys are kind of justified in their criticism. CMB shows streaks of brilliance and then he always seems to go blank in big games. To be honest with you I can not remember the last big game we won. definition of BIG ( winning that one game that comes around every other year that moves your program to the next level). I'm not busting your chops, but I think you will find a lot of UGA fans feel this way. Everyone has vented a lot this week, but after reading \"sit down we need to talk\" they seem to have moved on. That is kind of the beauty of college football, coaches make big money and are expected to win championships. The guys on this site long for championships and we should. I think our next big game is probably Florida. We seem to have turned the corner with Tenn. earlier this decade. If we beat Florida this year we will have split the last four years. I know they have won 18 out of 20 or something like that, but you have to start somewhere and 2 out of 4 is definitely a good start.I have read this forum for a couple of years now and they always praise the Dawgs when appropriate and scold them the same way. All in all this is a good bunch of fans.

Hmm crazy, my momory gets worst and worst I could have sworn we all wanted Bobo out a long time ago. I could have sworn none of us praised him last year. I also could have sworn we predicted this same stuff would happen this year, somebody please give me some ginseng...lol

2006: Mike Bobo's offense beats a Virginia Tech team that has the best defense in the nation. Next level? Proves that Georgia's offense, not just its defense, can be WORLD-beaters in coming back from an 18-point second-half deficit.
2007: Mike Bobo's offense beats the defending national champion Florida Gators in destructo-fashion, scoring 42. Next level? Proves we can beat Florida. Proves that it's not just Auburn that has Tebow's number.
2008: Mike Bobo's offense DESTROYS Hawai'i in the Sugar Bowl, scoring 41 on the only undefeated team in the country. Next level? Well jeez...it only got us ranked #1 preseason for the first time in history.
2008: Mike Bobo's offense beats the defending national champion...AGAIN. This time it's LSU, in Baton Rouge (where Mark Richt had never won), on a Saturday, at night. Don't tell me that's not big.
Like I say, I love all Dawg fans except Sonny Perdue, but if you can't remember the last big game we won, grow a memory.

Argree with dapolla on this one.
Last season our D let us down when it counted.
This year there is going to be an adjustment. During the game last week we couldn't get the ball vertically down field. Dropped passes killed us and don't get me started on the turnovers. Hell 2 were on our side of the field (the 11 and 32 yd lines to be exact) and led to 10 OSU points.
I'm not willing to call for Bobo's head yet. It was a tough loss to a good team in their house on opening day.
I don't think the OSU defense is all that this season but it is only one game and at least they weren't in the SEC and it was at the beginning of the season. There is still plenty of games to play an I'm willing to wait and see how the next couple of games shake out before I call for any head to roll.

Ok, that's five great games Bobo called since 2006. There were many more that were either bad or inconsistent.
I believe the disgruntled people on this forum are more upset and irritated about the INCONSISTENCY of Bobo's play calling than anything else. Geez, even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.
