1) Anyone would be an improvement with the talent we recruit.
2) Keeping the ball in RS hand down the stretch would have prevented a pick 6 and giving CT the ball in space(sreens & swing)would have extended the drives and would have gave the defense proper rest. TOP falls squarely on the OC and USC had us beat in that department. If your defense is on the field a whole quarter because of turnovers and 3 & outs, the defense will get tired.

Like I mentioned on another post......Mark Whipple of UM would be a fantastic OC. He really calls a GREAT game offensively. Last night, GT had NO idea what was coming or how to defend against it.

DamaBama but anyone who can disect the Saban Defense the way they
did would be nothing but a plus as OC at UGA... Get'em on the phone quick.
As a matter of fact, the DC didnt do a bad job for them either...bring him too.

Honestly I'd like to see something similar to what Lane Kiffin did at Tennesse and lets take some of these good OC's who got head coaching jobs that crumbled and bring them back into the fold. Kiffin snagged up Orgeron who was an assistant and line coach as USC and Miami to strengthen his defense then he added his dad Monte who is an NFL defensive wizard. If we could do that but with an OC or heck I'll take someone over Willie Martinez too on the defensive side we would be much improved. Just two days ago they were talking about teams abilities to recruit and they ranked Florida as the number #1 team in regards of in-state talent to recruit and Georgia based on the commentators sits around #3 because Georgia produces so many athletes. With this type of talent there should be no reason we aren't fighting for a national championship every year. Saban took Alabama and in just a couple of years already has them back to prominence and he doesn't recruit better athletes than we do, he simply gets better assistants to surround himself with. I love Richt but I feel like we'd be better served if he were calling the plays, I mean all I've got to go on is history and Florida State was a pretty good offensive machine until Richt left.

Is Richt's dad available?
