The Silver Lining...

At least this game has no bearing on the SEC. Season is far from done, and if our D can do that to an offense like Oklahoma State, then there is reason for hope. Getting to Atlanta should be our goal right now. Win the east and things will take care of themselves.

Oh I agree. If we can hold the Oklahoma State offense to those numbers and still lose, we're in trouble.

Florida and Georgia Tech are definite losses.

I'm hesitant to call the season a total bust though, simply because Georgia has traditionally been slow out the gate, and Oklahoma State is a legit national title contender this year. They may end up running the Big 12.

I think OSU will lose 3-4 games. OU (although Bradford may be out...could then win that one), Texas, could lose to Baylor, TT and possibly Mizzou. They weren't impressive today either.

You know ChemDawg, I feel that if we can't \"be relevent\" and in the hunt for the SEC or NC with the program we have and the talent we think we have.....then the season is a bust. Love the Dawgs but mediocre should never happen at UGA. I'm getting a little tired and frustrated with excuses and \"what coulda beens\". With the recruits we have we should be at UF, OU, USC and UT's levels EVERY freaking year.

I agree, this will be a long season. The next game with USC will be a loss, you can put that in the books. The USC D will not let this pathic offence score a field goal. We have no D either, same old stuff as last year. We can not rush 3 and sack a QB. Yet we have 8 defending the pass and their receiver is wide open. CMR refused to let the guy brought in from Cal to do KO, due to the special teams coach said he did not want to kick the ball in the end zone. CMR is the damn coach and should have told this coach that you will do it the way I say. CMR is such a nice guy and he can not come down on his coachs. He does not want to hurt anyone feelings. Things do not look very promising, and I promise you that if we go 6/6 or 7/5 , the fans will want a change. I don't know what is wrong, but with the talent we have, the last 3 years have been terrible. I know we ended up on a high in 07, but we started off 07 terrible, and 08 the entire season was a joke, got lucky here and there. This year will be a repeat of Jim Donnans first year, may be 6/6.

I feel after tonight, we will be 0/5 come OCtober.

I am sorry if I am so down, but enough is enough and as I said with the talent of the players, it has to be the coaches.

Dawgs forever

Over 5 losses is pushing it. We lost to an outside national title contender in their house in the first game we've opened against a top 10 opponent outside the south since my dad was a little kid, while trying to break in a new starter. I think we'll go 10-3 or 9-4.
