I should have clarified myself, I think it was golferdawg in a previous post that blamed the refs, I just addressed it here. We will have to disagree then, it should have never been in the refs hands. OK St isnt saying that a blown call won them the game, and UGA wouldnt if they were in their shoes. It was a great game for both teams and they will both do well this season.
Gator,
Will you please
read what I wrote? I did NOT say that the call cost them the game. Stop jumping to conclusions here. Never in my statement did I say that the blown call
cost them the game, I said it was a factor in them losing, along with many more dominant issues.
As a dawg fan, I'm not content to sit here and say \"oh yeah, a 10 & 2 season would be fine.\" I sit here and say \"a championship is what I want.\" Now if after all the dust settles, the coaching is done, the stadium quiets and the NCAA shifts forward a season to next year and we look back and see a 10-2 season for 2009, I'd say it's respectable but disappointing.
No one is being a downer here. We're being fans and we're frustrated because of the continued trends we see in the team & the staff. While we're talking about excuses we don't want to hear, you know what excuse I'm tired of hearing? I'm tired of hearing CMR say stuff like he said post game today:
\"hey, it's one game. There's an awful lot of football left to play.\" True enough, but I'll say this: if there's an awful lot of football like what I witnessed today left this year, I don't want to see it. Something's gotta give here. He better get the reigns of this staff and give them the business to tighten their crap up and let it be known their jobs are on the line. Their output today was about as boring and predictable as the Bucs under Tony Dungy.
