Spurrier always prepares more for us than for any other team. That's why he put half a hundred on us in Athens, that's why he called D.J. Shockley a \"sure-fire Heisman contender\" (psych-out, anyone? it almost worked!), and that's why he spent more time prepping for us in 2007 than for UL-Lafayette. But I'm not going to lie: they just didn't look good at all. NC State's receivers lost that game much more than SCarolina's defense won it, even though their D looked absolutely dominant, especially Norwood. Ah, well. One game at a time.
