Former Dawg

Did anyone notice the defensive end for NC State that intercepted Garcia tonight? Michael Lemon of Macon who was a former Dawg before his very unfortunate personal tragedy led to other problems at UGA. I always felt for him and am happy to see that he has persevered and looks to have a good future.

Speaking of the USC/NCST game (without starting a new thread), was that game BORING or what (well not really because it was the 1st game of the year). But man, it looked like two mules fighting over a turnip.

That Matthews (#83) and Norwood were all over the field for USC's D. NCST looked really inept and Garcia and their O looked pretty bad as well. They will get better but they had better hurry, they've got a brutal schedule too.

wlayton, I hate saying \"we don't have to worry about South Carolina\" after their first game, since I said that in 2007 and we all know how that turned out, but I sure am less worried. Although I HATE the fact that they get two extra days to prep for us....

Agree dapolla and that first game can look bad sometimes. Garcia may play great against us but he doesn't put too much fear in me. Their D may be pretty good but NCST's OL can't compare to ours. Our guys up front should control the game.

Since Ga spoiled Spurriers Heisman season, he has hated the Dawgs. He will have SC ready for us. Hope we have an answer.
