wlayton, think that I mentioned this once before. I have a 1993 TransAm that I am having rebuilt now. Some problems with my hips made me make a changeover from a 6 speed to an automatic. Putting a few more horses under the hood. Originally had LT-1 engine, turned out to be a pain in the bottom. Totally agree about the sixties, music and muscle cars. I ran at places like Fairburn, Dallas and Yellow River in my 1966 Ford Fairlane GT. Just for the record . . . 11.72 best time in the quarter. Brings many memories back to this old fart.

Dang Buc, what were you running in that '66 Ford? That's a very good time (without just making it a dragster). Hey, ever watch Pinks All Out on Speed Channel. Cool show for us old muscle car guys. Let me know how your TransAm turns out. Back in the day, my parents wouldn't let me have a '66 Chevelle SS396 (they were smart, I see it now), so since I'm over 21 now, I'm going to get one if I can find one with matching #'s (at least the engine).

Ok guys, I know we are off the subject so.......Buc and I will put DAWG plates on the front of the cars, right Buc?

wlayton, it was a 390 Bored and Stroked. 456 third member. Candy Apple Red. Ready for this . . . it was automatic. Built by Harold Dutton who was on the Ford payroll. Had a lot of fun with the 396 Chevelles. Watch Pinks and all of the car shows. Helps keep me young. I will be 69 on Monday and look forward to getting behind the wheel of the TA again . . . .

Really getting excited about all the talk with Abry Jones. Garner knows this young man has it. I say, work him in. If he turns out to be the cats whiskers, he will leave UGA before his Senior season. Think we made a mistake red shirting Knowshon. Of course hind sight is always 20/20.

In case I forget, hope you have a great Birthday Monday Buc!! Hey you know they are raising our life expectancy now, so you are having and equivalent B-Day of about 63-64. Feeling younger now??

HEY BUC......had to get back on......was watching Pass Time (drag racing game show) and they were trying to guess the time on a '66 Ford Fairlane with 530 CI engine. Beautiful car that ran a 9.27 qtr. Guess you watch that show too.
