Once again, you hit the nail on the head, wlayton. The OSU game will set the tone. We will have a lot of very young guys seeing playing time early and they desperately need the experience early. If we can be successful early, we'll be damn good by the Florida game. Early victories are the key! And yes, I also think we take out OSU in Stillwater..... and SCarolina, Arkansas, ASU, LSU, Flamin' Lane and his hound dogs, and Vandy. Then..... Katie bar the door!!!!!!:woohoo:

Last year's team got a lot of hype and praise because of our skill position players and that continued even after our best linemen on both sides of the ball went down (Owens, Sturdivant). Now this year we clearly don't have as good a group of skill position players but our lines will be so much better. We have our true anchors back, the OLine guys got a lot of seasoning last year and the defense is very experienced, too, with some great individual talents like Curran or Jones. Now even though some don't count on the Dawgs this year, I feel better about the team this year... mainly because we haven't lost numerous All SEC talents and pro prospects to season ending injuries... let's hope that it stays like this...

I definetely wouldnt count us out. I think we actually will be better than last years team. Minus a player or two, your right though the injuries and the hype thats not there this year will be a huge burden off of our guys. Sort of like a fresh start. Let's hope big thing happen this year were so close to sealing the deal, I think thats why we all get frustrated. Stay Positive guys GO DAWGS...
