Predictions for the 2009 Football Season

I love my Dawgs but they don't do everything right. Somebody has got to be the one to call them on the carpet.

The knuckle heads they turn out of high school these days need to be on a no alcohol, no drugs diet. Football is all the fun they need. It is a PRIVILEGE to be a player for the Georgia Bulldogs. Send everybody else home.

My 2 cents,
stevedawg

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.

Absolutely, Steve.

duck, as we've stated before, the spring game never shows anyone anything. If it was a high-scoring affair, you'd be worried about the defense. If it was a low-scoring affair, you'd be worried about the offense. It's not a game designed for entertainment, no matter how much HYPEspn tries to make it so. It's a scrimmage (!) wherein players compete with each other for spots on the roster and on the starting lineup.

Here are the players who showed me something:

1) A.J. Green, who didn't have to.
2) Carlton Thomas. WOW!
3) Justin Houston. Too bad his stupid behind is suspended for two games.
4) Marcus Washington. Way to come back from a medical redshirt, Marcus!
5) Aaron Murray. You see the zip on his pass? Hopefully, though, the staff will redshirt him, because number six is
6) Logan Grey. WOW. Kid is good. He can play quarterback. Let's see if he lets Joe Cox keep his job.

GO DAWGS!!!

Yeah dapolla.....I predicted to another Dawg here in the office that Grey will take over Cox by the UF game as the starter. He's sharp, very mobile, has REALLY improved his throwing motion and accuracy and he carries himself very confidently and shows leadership. Believe he's a winner.

Have this gut feeling that Aaron Murray will stay in school and graduate. That is going to be good news for UGA. Good post dapolla, agree with you and wlayton on the play of Logan Grey, special athlete.
