Matthew Stafford/Jay Cutler

See if this shoe fits. Just a hunch on my part.

Jay Cutler is traded to Detroit for Matthew Stafford. (First round draft choice) Think that Cutler would like throwing to Johnson. That would be a awesome conbination, regardless of personal feelings about the overall situation.

Matthew Stafford is actually getting the deal that he would value the most, other than ending up in Dallas.

Last summer I watched a TV piece that was broadcast out of Texas and the interviewer asked Matt who his favorite QB of all time is. He did not hesitate and said John Elway. Since this mess with Cutler and the new Denver coach came up, have had this feeling that Stafford will end up in Denver. Personally, would rather see that happen, as Denver has been a top notch organization for a long time. Would not surprise me if the deal was already made.

Post this because one of our Dawgs could and very possibly will be an issue in the upcoming NFL draft. Folks, have a great day. Go Dawgs, best wishes Matt.

P.S. This is not an April Fools joke. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Buc, it's funny you bring it up, because I played out that very same scenario in my head a few days ago. Great Dawg minds think alike!!

DAWG1277, did not mean to say that MS and CJ would not be a great combination, they would. Sometimes it is hard for me to grasp the idea of a Dawg throwing to a Bee. Both have talents that many would love to have.

My major concern with MS going to Denver is the turmoil that in my opinion was created by their rookie coach. Trust means a lot between athlete and coach, most on this board have played some type of sport and know that to be true.

With the arm and mind that MS has, want only the best for him. Leadership issues seem to come up occasionally about MS, and I suppose there is reason for that. If I needed a QB and was the person selecting first, no doubt in my mind that I would choose MS. There is some Red and Black kool-aid involved in the last statement, but folks, the young man has a cannon on the right side of his body.

I totally agree with you Buc. I stated my feelings on another post that I think MS will be a MUCH better pro than a college player. He's just not a rah rah kind of guy like you see in college, rather he is very business like, methodical and has Elway's arm. :woohoo: and that's plenty. :woohoo:

wlayton, could not agree more. Yes, I have seen where you posted much the same. I really pull for the guys that leave UGA and go to the league. Down my way we have Jermaine Phillips switching from safety to linebacker. Looks like another Davis. Dude will knock you out. Really going to be a superior linebacker for Tampa Bay. Replacing Derrick Brooks, has to be something special.

Buc, Jermaine is a very good player that has managed to \"fly under the radar\" but is having a very nice career in the NFL. Always liked him because he seemed to always be in position, would knock your head off and had great fundamentals. Good for him!!!
