Yeah Dawg1277,
I think \"ELECTRIC\" is the ONE word that best describes the feeling in the air that night. An unusual and powerful amount of energy was certainly oozing throughout every one of the 90,000+ Dawgs in Black. From the stands down to the field and back flowed an incredibly strong sense of passion and pride for the University of Georgia. The players were jacked and focused; an unstoppable combo indeed. Auburn was lucky just to have survived that WHOOPING!

That video makes me wish our Dawgs were kicking some Tigers tails tomorrow instead of having to wait til' Nov. I'm really anxious for the Bulldogs to close that TWO-game gap (thanks dapolla) in the all-time series!

Hey, Goose! I don't think they have recovered from the beating they took that night! Do you? It could have also been the beginning of the end of Tommy Tubby's tenure at AU. They have been a totally different team since. Yes, people could blame it on injuries, graduation, etc., but could it have been confidence or will to win that was lost that night. B)

Watson, I actually think the beginning of the end for Tommy was our 37-15 beatdown of his #5 Tigers in 2006. Here was this freshman quarterback of a four-loss, unranked Georgia team coming in off of losses to Vandy and Kentucky coming INTO the Plains. Auburn's got an outside shot at the national title if they win out over the Dawgs and the Tide. What happens? Four INTs and even more sacks later, the Dawgs have defied the Tigers' vaunted defense and absolutely ROUTED Auburn. That was it. That ended things for Auburn, I think. I know that the Blackout was a huge beatdown, and that it got more pub as a blackout and a night game in a year when Georgia was having an ungodly streak of great games, but the 2006 win was, I think, the \"origin of the feces\" in terms of the s-storm coming down on TT's head.
