Diamond Dawgs Take the Field

Excellent performance by Leaver, who got the win. Anyone catch this on GXtra? Bryce Massanari's grand slam cleared the trees and cost somebody some auto body repair fees! 11-4 Dawgs, and I'm loving this team's ability to run, though we've had baserunning errors in the past two games, which I don't like.

Dapolla , do you go to a lot of the baseball games?

I tried to when I was at UGA in the early half of the decade. I'm in NC now, so no, I don't; I watch most of them on GXtra. My uncle, his daughter, and his mother (my grandmother) all celebrate their birthdays in February, though, so I usually take his family (sans my grandmother) to a ballgame annually. It's a tradition going on three years; so far we've seen Georgia beat Auburn (that was a very late b-day present), lose to Arizona, and beat Youngstown State. So, yeah...a winning record!

By the way, I've only seen Georgia lose live twice: once to Georgia Southern in 2005 and once to Arizona, as mentioned. I might be a good luck charm, but who knows???

We need you to start planning that trip to Omaha this year, dapolla. With that record we'd take it all for sure!
