Run D wasn't the issue in the Big 12, it was pass D.

I do see how OSU uses Dez and it reminds me of Fitzgerald now and when he caught all of those TD's for Pitt. Through it up and make him go get it. The WR has such an advantage on the fade and jump ball pass than the DB any day. Well except if you have a very strong armed QB.. Remember how we shut down Calvin..... if the QB doesn't have time to throw it then he can't catch it!!!

Here is one for you?? Can they contain BS on kick and punt returns. If he is good as advertise I do expect him doing at least this.

Oh ye of little faith...Here's how I see it:
Branden Smith is gonna be ALL OVER Dez Bryant like Paul Oliver on Calvin Johnson in 2006 Btw. the Hedges. BS is gonna hold DB to ONLY 1 catch and after the game he's gonna personally sign that one caught football for Dez to place on top of his trophy case.

Seriously, I think we'll know what kind of POTENTIAL the 09' season holds for our Dawgs by the time the dust settles at Boone Pickens Stadium. To me, it's all about the pass rush. Let's be honest, the pass rush was NON-EXISTENT last year and it was perhaps, our biggest asset just a year earlier. If we can get some pressure on the QB I believe somebody (or some bodies) will be able to contain Dez; honestly though, I really don't see us shutting him down. The truly great WRs make plays against any and all defenses.

Please bring a sound gameplan to Stillwater Willie & LET THE BIG DAWGS EAT!
