Tripp has been a total team player since he got here. He just wants to help the team win anywhere he can. Kind of like Logan Gray. These kids are ones these young guys should try and emulate while they are learning the ropes. No egos there.
Can I just toot a few untooted horns here? As long as we're talking about who the young guys should emulate, I'll throw three names out there: Joe Cox, D.J. Shockley, and Joe Tereshinski III. These guys sat on the bench nearly their entire collegiate careers, waited patiently, never complained, and then came out and did what was asked of them. JoeC will get his chance next year. Even more than that, JoeT3 got benched due to injury and poor performance midway through the season, and he STILL never complained.
Talk about your team players.
Personally I hope to see JoeT work himself up to being a quarterbacks coach somewhere. I guarantee he has TONS to teach.
