Rookie Salary Cap

I think Cox and/or Murray (dare we dream for a wrinkle in the offense of bringing in a different type qb once or twice in an offensive series to keep defenses guessing?) would fill the void for MS better than CK or RS would for KM, so if one stays, I vote Knowshon. Plus I don't think he's quite as ready to succeed in the NFL as Stafford is.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

I dont feel that Stafford is ready for the NFL. As far as picking one to stay......hmmm.....I have to say Moreno. King or Samuel neither one impressed me this year at all. I know they didnt get many touches, but they showed me very little. Alot of hype for those two, and I have a sick feeling they are gonna be a letdown. Hope not.

Dawg1277 i can't agree more on RS and CK. they didn't show much besides weaknesses to me. The Eric Dickerson running style doesn't work with today's size and speed. ED was about the same size as the LB once he made through the hole.

I just hope that these two aren't over hyped like the three amigo's that came through UGA. Lumpkin, Ware, wow brain fart can't remember him. anyway they combined for about a 1,000 yds a year. i know we have a top RB comming in but on film he looks like a downhill running back, not to flashy. the 15th can't get here fast enough. i think we should know their status right after the bowl game. i believe both already have their mind made up.

I also believe they have their minds made up. I would obviously prefer for them both to come back and we make another run at this thing w/ a healthy O-line and a more experienced D that might learn to tackle and play man coverage w/o an interference call.*cough* Asher *cough*. Hey we can all dream, right??

Call me crazy but I would hope Stafford stays. He should have an extraordinary grasp of the offense after three years as a starter and some excellent receivers, not to mention a great offensive line.
I hope Knowshon stays too.

averagedawg, I won't call you crazy because I guess you and I are the only 2 that would rather have MS back than KM (I'm assuming I'm reading you correctly).

My philosophy in picking college games is whoever has the best HC and QB. MS will be like having another coach on the field. He changed many plays this year at the line of scrimmage (which probably put KM in a better position to be successful)and has a complete command of the offense. Just putting another QB back there to chunk it downfield won't get it done. It is HUGE if you can have an experienced QB that is an extension of Bobo and CMR while out on the field. The success of offenses nowadays is dependent on how the QB can manage the game given the defensive sets put in front of him. Having KM is huge as well but having KM and and average QB won't get it done...they will put 8 in the box and shut us down.

Just believe in the college game, QB may be THE most important position on the field.
