Auburn asked to talk to Searels

How about the flip flop of Chizik to Auburn and Auburn's recent former DC Rhoads replacing him as head coach at Iowa State. Funny how the game of coaching musical chairs ends up.

We need to keep Searels, one of the best coaches we have.

Yes, double his salary...he may be the best OL coach in the country.

Searels is staying!!! i don't understand this and maybe someone can help here. Searels is staying and is expected to get a raise after the bowl game along with all the other coaches. Does Searels deserve a raise for what he has done this year \"YES\" do the other Offensive coaches deserve raises YES. so that leaves the defense: \" The UNDERACHEIVERS \" thats what willie called the defense this year. i have been a golf pro for 10 years now, working at country clubs and now at a custom club fitting company. I HAVE NEVER RECIEVED A PENNY FOR UNDERACHIEVING! Thats like getting first place money finishing last. CMR you want to fix the defense then make them earn their freakin money! even the players know they underacheived on that side of the ball. to me this sends messages across the nation to the kids we are trying to sign that we are ok with Mediocrity. we will reward you for ok performances as long as you try even though it's not your best effort. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! show some balls CMR and reward the ones that deserve it and make the others know that they have to get the best out of these kids to get raises. i just don't understand the thinking here?!?
