The real tell-tale sign of whether Stafford and Moreno are going to go pro is whether or not they register for summer courses. Usually that starts around the 1st week in March. I agree that Stafford is fishing (as are all players \"contemplating\" going pro) and I also agree that he's as good as gone. He's a fool if he doesn't go pro as his stock will never be higher than it is right now. I for one would like to see Cox get a shot at QB and I'd really like to see the introduction of Aaron Murray into UGA's arsenal and see what this kid can do. I happen to think, after looking at his stats and his unbelievable iron-man like comeback from this injury, he could be the Georgia QB of a generation. Maybe wishful thinking, maybe reality. Only time will tell.
Moreno is a different story. I think while Moreno will be tempted to go pro, I see him coming back for his junior year. If he wants to up his NFL value, he needs to have a season running behind a healthy o-line and show that speed is not an issue for him. While Moreno has all the makings of a stud tail back in the NFL, he's got some more to prove at the college level before NFL scouts start wetting themselves over him. Right now, if he goes pro, I see him being a low first round pick and not starting on anyone's squad off the bat, unless they have an abysmal running game. Even at that, I could see him splitting carries. He just needs more time in the incubator at the college level. If he gets one season with 1,500+ yards behind an o-line that is 100% and starts being mentioned in the same sentence as \"Heisman\", then I can see him being a top 10 pick.
