That may help KM stay (possibly) but MS can't improve his position on the draft board, so he's still probably gone. I'd be happy if we can keep KM.

There is a problem the NFL faces when a large number of Juniors leave college and opt for the draft. Which is what the NFL is concerned about with the rumors of a rookie salary cap next year.
If a large number of Juniors come out this year, where does that leave next years senior class? Without a lot of talent and experience. Then Juniors come out again in large numbers. Eventually this will erode the experience and maturity that the NFL wants in rookies.
My belief is that Goodell is trying to keep this from happening with his statement of no rookie salary cap next year. It will eventually happen, but when is now anyone's guess. The owners and players union will decide that in the next contract. There have been rumors that there may be a strike next year or the year after due to the owners basically saying they want to begin to negotiate a new contract and not extend this one.
Something else for Juniors to consider.

Moreno would be better off to wait.
Stafford, I think, will leave and who can blame him?
This year's losses were not his fault. He had a great year. The offense had a great year, largely due to the fine coaching of Coach Searels.
Thanks, Coach Searels!
