I just made the decision to not go. Have old friends coming in to visit and we'll watch it on High Def at home while trying to recover from a venture to the French Quarter.

great point about the similarties between this game and the ole miss game last year. It will be critical for the defense to force at least one turnover. Remember that that against the rebs last year ole miss were poised to take an early lead when we recovered a fumble at the one yard line. From that point on Stafford and CO. were basically in control of the game. Georgia also got an interception late in that game to seal the deal. Wilma Martinez has got to stray from georgia's traditional defensive strategy and just blitz the bejesus out of msu in order to stop ringer and also create the all important turnover. On offense the dawgs should run all over the little green men provided stafford avoids one of those mind boggling interceptions hes prone to. If UGA somehow manages to avoid mistakes and actually generates a turnover they ought to take state to the woodshed. But not making stupid mistakes has seemed like a tall order for this team.

GO DAWGS!!!!!

Before we get all critical of the Dawgs and focus on this game specifically, I'd just like to remind everyone of the historical significance of this game. Exactly 20 years after Vince Dooley coached his last game -- his 201st victory -- over these same Michigan State Spartans in the Gator Bowl, we will be playing MSU in the Capital One Bowl. Orlando ain't Jacksonville, but it's serendipitous nonetheless. Heartbroken as I am at our disappointing season, we can do CVD proud by getting a win here. Go Dawgs, and win big!

Serendipity must be related to proximity, because the only way it could be better (besides the NC game) is if it were in Tampa. (Okay, remember we're talking about serendipity, not the better of the two bowls...) This is one of the few times I can be happy I live in Florida.
