Coach Vince Dooley once told someone that there are three phases of the game. Offense, defense, and special teams. And, in order to win, a team must control at least two of those phases.

I give Fl offense and special teams. Defense goes to Bama. Game to(am holding my nose and closing my eyes), gggggaaaaattttttoooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs. Oh my, I am pulling for Bama though.

Really hoping that Bama can neutralize the gators special teams.

gators 24
Bama 21

Some good analysis here that I cannot disagree with.
I honestly believe that this one all comes down to focus and intensity.
I have underestimated the Gators in every game this year (except Ole Miss of course). I expected to loose to LSU and in the games I expected to win, I underestimated the margin.

My prediction this weekend is Gators 31, Bama 24.

If you judge by our game then it will most likely be bama winning, we didnt make too many mistakes against them and we still lost, we played horrendous against florida so its no surprise we lost. Bamas line is the strongest one florida will face all year and saban is good defensively so I look for bama to win a pretty close game unless they can get to JPW then its a blowout, but then its the same on bamas side if they get to teebow.

I'm not going to predict the score, but I'm taking Floriduh, and I'm pulling for them, because I honestly don't think Bama can beat Oklahoma and I simply cannot live with my mullet-headed friends for the next year if Oklahoma wins an MNC.

I may lose my dinner saying this, but I think Florida pulls away late and wins this one.

The speed in all aspects of the game that the Gators have will be too much. AL can definitely control the line of scrimmage, but don't forget how Florida will spread out their offensive line and the entire field to utilize all that speed. Mount Cody will be gassed from all the misdirection and running around. Two dangerous things in Florida's offense is they make you think before reacting and then the speed kills you when you hesitate while thinking.

Florida's D will rattle JPW and the Tide has to rely on their RB's to generate the offense for him to have any prayer in not looking like the QB he really is.

The Tides only prayer is getting Turnovers. They will pick Tebow once, but it's not enough.

It will be close early, but(gulp)Gators pull away with a two TD win.

I think that Bama's D is amazing, they take out 1 of the options with the 365 lbs Nose tackle, then thay have really fast DE's that can get in the backfield from both sides, that puts the ball in Tebows hands, and nothign against the guy but history has proven if you make him throw the ball they loose, if you can take the lead in at the half then you win! Tebow has not brought UF back from being down at the half yet, hes too emotional and lets things get to him, so Bama has to get in his face and stay there all night! With this I think Bama will contorl the clock with the O and with the O line they have the RBs will prolly be running loose in the secondary which will cause problems and let JPW throw the ball! I saw Bama wins but will not venture a score prediction! LOL B)
