If Detroit keeps loosing Staford will be the first over all pick in the draft. Detroit needs a QB badly and i only see Bradford or Stafford going to them. i would choose Stafford over Bradford because of arm strength (Farve). My $.02

Here's a little outside the box thinking on what it would take for MS and KM to even think about staying for the next season.

Every fan in attendance would need to bring a $100 bill and place it somewhere for KM and MS to collect and split down the middle. The 9.2 million collected would get them about half way to what they would be losing in signing bonus for not going into the NFL.

Maybe then they would listen to the \"stay dawgs stay\" chants! Money talks!

We have spoken so much about the depth of this team and many of our young pups have gotten earlier than anticiapted game time experience this year. If they move on to their pro careers I'm excited to see what King and Samuel can do as well as these others waiting in the wings. We've had some damn good recruiting classes and are built for the long run here. All is not lost when these two studs go to the NFL.

I believe both are gone. KM probably needs to go....he's had around 500 carries the last 2 years and if he stayed, tack on another 250. A RB's body is good for only so many carries that it can withstand in a career. KM needs to move those carries to the next level to lengthen his career.

MS \"could\" use another year of decision making, reads, management etc etc but believe he has no choice but to take advantage of his draft stock (won't get any higher if he stays, projected as the top QB in the draft) and take the money NOW.....could be VERY costly if he waits.

Seems like I heard a Stinchcomb say that exact same thing recently...

Well, like DawginLA said, we have talent in the wings. Joe Cox was 31-0 at Independence High--maybe he's got that \"it\" factor we've been looking for--and several years learning the system. Logan Gray could also challenge for the job. I'd hate to see Matt go, but if he does, someone should rise to the occasion.
