We all sure do like the Final Four tournament though.One of the greatest things in college sports.

Yeah, but if you look at the NCAA BB tournament what teams are almost always in the Final Four? Yep, the number one and number two seeds. Who other than die hard College hoops fans watch regular season games every week without fail? Not many.Why? Not all of them are all that important.

Now how many College FB fans rearrange their lives to ensure they are in their seats or in front of the TV for that regualr season CFB game. Almost all of em.Why? B/C they are all so damn critical and important to the seasons measure of success which is a BCS bowl. It's a flawed system, but not entirely broken. I'm okay with the little guys having something to play for and get all hyped about.

I can't see a playoff being the answer due to the slight erosion of the importance of every single regular season game and the tradition around bowl games.

Playoffs would be nice for a change and gives hope to those teams like ours that have lost a game or two and finishes in the top 10 or 8, but is not necessarily the answer.

I have never understood it when people against a playoff say that the regular season games wouldn't be as important......yes they would!! You still have to win in order to make the top 4, 8 or 16, whatever the number to even get into the playoffs. I do think it would be exciting but have to say that I very much enjoy what we have now. I'm fine basically either way...I just love college football, the best sport on the planet.

Oh, when I mentioned the Final Four, I was simply stating how exciting EVERY game was and could only imagine the drama of each game in an eight game college football playoff. You have to say it WOULD be fun to watch.:woohoo: :woohoo:

No doubt the Final Four is exciting and I would be glued to the TV for every single CFB playoff game. Heck I watch the FCS games b/c I love CFB so much. I'd watch the AL school for the blind play the FL beauty/barber college if they fielded teams.

I don't need Jack Daniels and CocaCola either but it sure is nice.
