Offensive coordinator Rob Spence has also been fired.

Bowden was rumored to be a candidate at Arkansas after last season, but he signed a four-year contract extension in December. The contract would have kept him at Clemson through 2014. There reportedly is a $4 million buyout. WOW was he worth that? LOL

Hey, my guy said there are rumors flying about Muschamp going to Auburn, UT and/or Clemson. Hope it's Clemson.

Be surprised if AU lets Tuberville go.....although, people have short memories.

Good point wlayton. Had thought about that myself. The folks in Tennessee are really upset with Fulmer, saying that the powers that are in charge should go ahead and buy his contract out. What about this . . . A lot of the Auburn folks have wanted a change for a long time. Good friends of mine emailed me Saturday night and voiced their feelings about the existing program at AU. One thing for certain, Will is going to have a lot of offers in the near future. Another thing that sticks in my mind is Pat Dye, terrific player at UGA that ended up on the Plains.

Tommy's gonna get a mulligan on this year. Remember, he was trying to implement a new offense, fired his OC mid-year, and had no quarterback. This is a man who led Auburn to an undefeated SEC Championship season just four years ago. If PP stayed at Tennessee after 2005, Tuberville will get a mulligan this year.

Muschamp knows what a powerhouse Clemson could be. It's an attractive-as-hell job.
