Tommy Bowden

Seem to be some similarities between PP and TT. PP let his best coach get away to Duke. TT, well he has a certain Alabama team on his schedule and the folks at AU are really worried about this game. TT has done well over the years with Alabama, but would not be surprised to see SATAN lay 50 or 60 on the Tigers. If Alabama is still in the running for the top spot in the nation at that point, would look for them to run it up if they can. Seems as if teams have to do that, impresses some folks. Homecoming against Vandy, remember years ago when I had the season tickets and walking into the stadium knowing the victory was ours. Not that way anymore, come prepared Dawgs.

TT almost lost his job to Petrino. Agree that he is playing the game (year) with a mulligan. I try to keep a close eye on their recruiting, won't say for sure, but I don't think that this is one of TT's better years. But who can say, sometimes those 5 star athletes don't amount to a hill of beans compared to some that work their way into the lineup with much less fanfare.

Fulmer's not going anywhere yet. He has too many friends in the AD. Most Tennessee fans want him gone but it's not going to happen.
Don't be surprised if the Vols beat 'Bama.
GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'd be nice to see UT save Lardo's job against somebody besides us for a change.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

averagedawg . . . Have watched the voters and talking heads rate the #1's in the country. All keep falling, not just 1's, but 2's, 3's and others. Possible I suppose for UT to beat Bama, but from what I have seen thus far, that would be a huge upset. Know that Kentucky played Bama a tight game, just have to look at the attitude of the Kentucky players and coach. They refuse to be doormats without a fight anymore. What I see coming out of Knoxville is not the \"attitude\" to win. Maybe with the exception of Berry. Satan has a chance to be on the top of the world of college football, and don't believe he will let them slip the remainder of this year. If he pulls this thing off, he will be awarded not only the trophy, but the \"Crown from the Burger King Clown\". PP has done nothing more than rile the UT faithful, from what I can read. Rest of the SEC year is going to be very interesting to watch, several teams are going to \"prove\" to the faithful just who they are. Go Dawgs!
