Couple of things . . . Coach Richt is in his first duty station as a head coach. Think about that, has experience in high school, college and the pros. FIRST TIME HE HAS SERVED AS HEAD COACH. Look at CMR's record, not too shabby, in my opinion. Before he was hired, if you were the person responsible for hiring a head coach, would YOU have chosen CMR. Go a little more in depth, would YOU have known who CMR was and who he was calling the signals for? I go way, way back with our team and school, and here are my feelings on CMR. Absolutely the best coach and recruiter UGA has EVER had. Times are different now than in the last three or four decades, much different. The pressure many say are on the athletes coming out of high school, could not agree more. That is true, but I would offer the opinion that it is much tougher on the head coach to do all of the things that are expected of a BIG TIME COLLEGE FOOTBALL COACH. CMR has recently turned the offensive side of the team to someone that he trusts, not that he does not listen, but he has given Bobo the gee and haw for the Dawgs. Defense might need some fine tuning, we will find out soon enough, but as NC_Dawg has suggested, sit back, take a deep breath, think about how far this team has come in a SHORT PERIOD of time. Under the DIRECTION of Coach Mark Richt. I also concur with the originator of this thread, if it is bothering you that much, you are drinking the wrong KOOL-AID. Go Dawgs!
