Total Lack of Discipline

Sorry my first post is negative, but it is the truth, at least IMO. Mark Richt has apparently lost control of this team. The penalties are absolutely ridiculous. I knew after watching the previous 3 games, that the dawgs could not do the same crap. They did not deserve to win the SC game. I am surprised that the Tide put the beat down on them like they did, but not surprised the Dawgs got beat.You can not have a THUG mentality on the football field, and that is basically all I see. You can fire Martinez all you want, but if you cut out a 100 yards of stupid ass penalties, then the outcome would be much different. It is time for Coach to quit being a nice guy. The new is off the black, the dawgs were apparently dressed for their funeral, instead of playing ball. I will give them credit for coming out to play the second half, but you got to play 4 qtrs of mistake free football to be the best team in the SEC.
If the discipline is not restored, you can kiss this season good bye, as GA's schedule will hand them at least 2 more loss's & probably more after they are demoralized. Those clowns who are charged with penalties should have to do community service or something, to learn the humility they need to have to succeed in life and on the field. I am still mad that the coaching staff pissed this game away. I blame the whole coaching staff for this. They need to get their heads out of their ass's and get a winning TEAM attitude.

Sorry your 1st post was negative too. We just got whipped and that CAN happen in the SEC. Zero penalties would certainly have helped the cause but Bama was BY FAR the better team Sat. Come down on the coaches all you want....have you forgotten that they had won ELEVEN in a row? Stuff happens, just pick yourself up and get going again...this IS the SEC, nothing is going to come easy and if you thought we were going to go undefeated and win every game BIG then you are dilusional.

We were taken to the woodshed. Alabama clearly deserved to win that game. Having said that, the season isn't over and we can still win the SEC Championship, which should be our first priority anyway.
We have got to get tougher up front or we are in for a long season. If we can't run the ball, we are in trouble. If we can't play pass coverage, we are in trouble.
We still have the athletes. We need leadership. It pains me to see these breakdowns on both sides of the ball. Cockiness has again raised its ugly head Between the Hedges.

You are right averagedawg....believe the boys had been reading their press clippings all week about how wonderful they are. Seems they do that once every year and get their butts whipped. They should be pretty humble right now.

Very true, average. I still haven't seen a true leader emerge on the O line or on the defense. Gut check time--somebody needs to step up.

sadler, wlayton, average & captdash: All ya'll are absolutely right. We are not a disciplined team at the present. CMR allows to much \"ME\" and not enough \"TEAM.\"
KnowShow's new hair do, the mohawk, hair hanging out behind the helmet, pants not covering the knees, the look at me type attitude, etc. We have a rough road to run with this schedule. The coaches and the team must come together so all will be focused on the road ahead. If not, it will be a long season. Keep the faith!
