Every time I hear this argument I cringe. \"Yeah we got beat, but what do you expect when our conference is sooooooo gooooooood.\" Get over it. You got exposed. Just like Florida got exposed by Ole Miss. The SEC is not what it has been the past few years. Yes, the SEC has great defense, but your offenses are atrocious. They say D wins games, but when you are one dimensional and can't score, it doesn't matter.

Absolutely! We've had 5 teams in the top 10 and the 3 who got knocked out fell to other SEC teams. You, UF & Auburn are still top 15 teams (and I seriously believe you & UF are still among the 10 best teams in the country). Hats off to Ole Miss though. They were great today.

Let me echo that I'll think we'll meet again the SECCG.... It's been said the hardest thing to do is beat the same team twice in the same season. You may have gotten a humiliating bitch slapping in the first half, but you showed poise in attempting to make a game of it.

When I posted the following post on this site, \"A Bamafan comes in peace...\" with what I expected to happen, I thought it would be closer but still be an Alabama win because I knew that we would own the line of scrimmage as we have all year. You win games by winning the trenches.

I don't understand your post. No one is making excuses about losing because our conference is so good. I will say that when SEC teams play each other, it's a bloodbath, regardless of how the teams look on paper. As much as I hate to say it, Florida is still a good team regardless of their loss to Ole Miss. The same goes for USC. Are they \"exposed\" because the Beavers beat them? The SEC has won 4 out of the last 10 Natl Championship titles, so I believe the SEC is what it has been and shall continue to be until some other conference proves otherwise.

So Georgia played a great game, heh?! He must have missed the load of stupid penalties, the fumble and our punting average in the first half... geeez...

You are a classy guy Bama. I knew this was not going to be an easy game. The Tide showed up to play football and that's just what they did. Ya'll looked great. It was a great game the second half. But as we all know to win in the SEC you have to play 4 quarters to win. And that's what ya'll did. Congradulations and good luck the rest of the way. Hope to see you in Atlanta at the end of the season.
