So, at this rate we'll be undefeated and unranked by the end of the season!!! We beat a quality in-conference opponent on the road and, yet again, we drop a spot in both the coaches’ poll and AP poll.

This is horrible because there is a good chance that both USC and Oklahoma run the table, therefore locking the DAWGS out of a National Championship game.

If I ever quit being a college football fan, THIS WILL BE THE REASON!!!!

Fortunately, (and a small fortune at that), AP and Coaches Poll have no determination on whom will be in Miami come January. I think SC runs the table. I think Oklahoma loses to Texas or Kansas. And I think we beat Florida. Back to number 2 by the first week of November. GO DAWGS!!!

It's funny how most of the folks on here think alike. Here is what I wrote to the ESPN folks.

It's funny. As soon as Georgia was given the #1 spot. ESPN and others have been looking for a reason to knock them down. The love affair with OSU and the California USC is sickening. Even though UGA covered the most popular spread of 7 points(against S.C.). We fall. The California USC's season is over. They have just played the toughest team they will see until the BCS championship game. UGA on the other hand has 4 of the top 10 teams to play. I will venture to say that, due to the love affair with USC. UGA will still not be ranked number one when/if they beat UF, UA, Auburn, and LSU. All top 10 teams and all on our schedule. Now that is a schedule. You want to prove your a good team. Play that schedule. Not a weak one where the toughest team you play is an okay team from a weak conference. The same team who has proven to be overrated. Don't get me wrong, USC is a really good team. We wont know how good though until they play a another really good team. I for one hope it's Georgia.

How great that would be! To finally end the Pac-10/SEC \"Who's the best\" critics. I really think that after corso and herpes put in their 2 cents in about how Georgia \"really struggled\" against a \"mediocre\" South Carolina football team, it's pretty obvious why voters jumped us again. It's sad how much bearing that the media can put on something, regardless of validity of their claims. You know what they say about opinions. But apparently pollsters feed off of them. Looks like our Dawgs will have to spend more time proving people WRONG than proving them RIGHT. GO DAWGS!!!

Our goals have to remain the same as they have been all year--Win all of our games, especially our SEC games, get to the SEC Championship and win that. If we do that, which is all our boys can control, I think we'll be in a good spot to get to the NC game.

Right on the money sadlerdawg. All the Dawgs can control is their opportunity to win the SEC championship. Focus on that, and all else falls into place. The polls cannot take away a W or give an L. It is up to the team to Finish the Drill.

And, I am confident they will.
