Kurt Herbstreit says Stafford is was created by DawgFanInTn
the best quarterback in college football today.
There is a video on espn's GA webpage with that statement. Do we have two Heismann candidates? Yep.

I like Stafford but I will wait until we play a team with a pulse. SC is a good start but I think I will be able to make a better decision after the Arizona St. game.

Go Dawgs!!!!

Looking at him as a pro prospect, he might be right. But I wouldn't call him the best \"college QB\" yet. Sure, he has all the potential in the world but we need him to come up big in big games. What I like about him he knows that he has a great running game to work with and doesn't force too much in recent games. Hope that trend continues...

Projected #1 pick (at least at quarterback) in next years NFL draft, that should tell you enough. Some NFL insiders said that they would have taken him last year as the #1 QB pick if he could have come out.

I agree, he has been prone I think to listen too much to the hype and bye into it. As a result he has made some poor choices on the field, this year he seems to have settled down quite a bit. I just hope that now that he SEEMS to be maturing into a better QB we will be able to benefit from the investment by keeping him for his senior year.
