Totally agree with you Buc. Fortunately (unlike last year), while the D comes totally into form, our offense will take care of business. We have so many weapons and MS is the real deal this year. Little bit concerned about the D but feel they will make adjustments and be as strong as anticipated. Hopefully they will be much more \"jacked up\" now that the \"real\" season begins. This offense may be the best and most balanced that I've ever seen at UGA, Herschel era included. We'll see how our offense does against a good D next week. It's nice to have the \"big play\" ability at any time.....they are VERY explosive.

I agree with the assessment of the defense. Concerned, but as BUC said, they are young and will get better.

Usually the defense is ahead of the offense at this point. I'm a little concerned but I think we'll come around.
How about Coach Searels and that OL?

Good assessment, Buc. wlayton is right on the money--unlike years past, our offense can carry the D until they come together completely, which they will soon. I think our offensive weapons can outgun about any of our opponents until maybe LSU and UF. By then our D should be up to snuff. Don't forget, after the UT and Vandy games when Coach Richt changed his attitude, I think Coach Martinez had an epiphany as well. He became a much better coach in my opinion. He'll have this D full speed in a couple of weeks, definitely by the time UT gets here with the off week.
average, you're right, Coach Searels has done an outstanding job. Terrific addition to the staff.

averagedawg, you were on target from the beginning about Coach Searels. Another point, when you have KM, CK and MS in the backfield, sure gives the offensive line some incentive to be on the mark. Don't mean to leave the others guys out intentionally, you folks know what I mean.

sadlerdawg, you and wlayton truly stay on point. You two know and recognize what is missed sometimes. This is a good football team, and to pass along the truth, there are a lot of good football teams on our upcoming schedule.
