Tough loss and your correct here. As long as he hasn't played in 4 full games this year(I think that number is correct)and he obviously hasn't, he can get a waiver to come back next year as a 5th year senior and I hope the young man deceides to do so.
Our Jasper Brinkley was in a very similar situation last season, tearing his ACL in game 3 against LSU and was granted the waiver to forego the draft and return this year, so Owens definetly can do the same. I wish him luck.
