Brief first day analysis

Hey guys, Alabama punched Clemson in the mouth BUT Clemson and the ACC are NOT physical. Alabama is basically one dimensionable and will not push our D-line around like that. Also Clemson's OL is AWFUL. Yes, they will be tough and physical but we will have too many weapons for Alabama and they will NOT run the ball on us, we will make Wilson beat us through the air and he just can't do it.

I thought the offense looked like they could move the ball and score at will, but there were a couple of drives in the first half where the will seemed to be lacking - maybe it was because they were playing Georgia Southern. GSU could do nothing against the defense.

The biggest play of the day was the play where we lost Jeff Owens.

Yeah, wlayton, 'bama looked good, but nothing we can't handle. They beat up a clearly outclassed Klempsun team. Klempsun is supposed to be the class of the ACC--it's obvious the ACC isn't quite ready to sit at the grown-up's table yet.

yea about that. it was the heat. i sit above the tunnel for halftime, 3 rows up and there were a few people just over there carried off by medical personel. i am 26 yrs and not in the best shape from a hurt neck and it took all i could stand to stay into the 4th quarter and i have never left a game early. they even mentioned it as a factor on the radio for how we played later in the game. next week is a 3:30 kickoff so i will be there till the end. it's bad when fans come to a game and have to go to the hospital from heat. it has been cool the last few weeks and even richt noticed it wasn't as muggy the last couple of weeks. sorry guys. i was the only one yelling in my section if that helps.

Yeah, the humidity came back with a vengeance. I guess it will help us prepare for that furnace in Tempe.
