A guess is they may put Boling at RT and move Tripp from RT to LT. Oh, Harmon, he's only a guard, he can't play tackle.

Ditto, wlayton.
Of all the players to lose, it could not be any worse. I look for some major rotation at that position. If there ever was a time to pull a rabbit out of the hat.
My brother's gonna see Coach Searels at church soon. I am anxious to hear what he says.

Trinton is out for the year, officially. He will need a full knee reconstruction. Josh Davis will replace him.

I got on ESPN.com to check what happened with the men's basketball team today (I was in a business meeting and couldn't watch the game; heard they were in a dogfight) and saw the headline \"Georgia Loses Sturdivant to Knee Injury.\" I was just praying it wasn't for the year...when I saw that he was out for the season I had to close my eyes to keep from falling out of my chair. If Davis doesn't get better REALLY quickly, we're going to have a repeat of 2003, when David Greene got sacked some impossible number of times. Matthew Stafford is a lot of things, but he's not a guy who thrives in the scramble, and I'm not excited about him rushing his throws the way David Greene used to have to do.

Let's just hope Davis (or Harmon, or Vance, or whomever) gets enough experience throughout August and then against GSU and CMU (and SCarolina, and Alabama, and ASU) to protect against LSU. LSU sacked David Greene something like 10 times in teh two games we played against them in 2003, and I don't want that to happen again.

Can you tell I'm worried? I may have to change my pants soon. This is bad, folks. No way to sugar-coat it. It's just bad news.

Yep...yep.....yep....YEP!!!!

We are going to have to run the ball a little more than planned this year and the LT is going to have to have the TE and RB's to \"chip\" to help the LT out a little. This isn't going to allow us to spread the field and open it up as much unless Searels figures something out.

Oh....and Josh Davis isn't the answer.IMO :(

Guys, I was torn up about this last night and don't feel much better today with the severity of the injury and the young man's football career in jeopardy at this point. I hope the best for TS and wish him a speedy recovery.

Having said we can't be serious contender if losing one player is going to have us moping about feeling sorry for ourselves. My guess is that there will be a silver lining in all of this and another player will step up and shine. I can remember how horrible the line has been at times the last couple of years but they eventually gel and start playing lights out. Kids at this age can mature both mentally and physically in a years time and I think we will be fine. Obviously we don't want anymore injuries but you can bet they are coming, it's just part of the game. Even the media favorite Gators have lost Ingram for the year, a safety and I think another player. Again, prayers for TS and the rest of the Dawgs!!
