Biggest Dawg killers ever?

What single individual, in your mind, is the biggest Dawg killer ever, in any sport? Someone who, almost single handedly, took something special away from the Dawgs.

Steve Detweiler in baseball this year has to rank near the top. He accounted for 100% of his team's offense and outscored the entire Georgia team by 600% in his (I mean Fresno State's) win over the Dawgs.

What are some other great individual performances by one man against a Dawg team that you can think of, where one player on the opponent's team basically single handedly destroyed the Dawgs. The only person who immediately comes to mind right now is Tony Dorsett.

Here are some criteria for membership in the elite Dawg killer club:

1.) The loss that we suffered as a result of this individual's performance must have taken something of importance away from our team that season. It must have either occured in a championship game or an important bowl game (SEC or national) or prevented us from being able to reach a championship game we would have gotten to if we had won.

2.) The individual's body of work in the game must have accounted for a majority of his team's offense or defense, whichever was a more important factor in our loss. I'm not interested in guys who made one great play in the game that beat us like a touchdown run or catch at the last second, so much as I'm interested in their total domination over the entire game (ie, their team score 45 points on us and they were involved in scoring or helping to score at least 35 of them, for example).

So, who's the biggest UGA killer of them all?

I hate to admit it, and he really wasn't that great, but Eric Ainge never lost to us.
The Tennessee Offensive Coordinator, David Cutcliffe, also had our number.
They are both gone. Thank God.

The Golden Goose

George Godsey-he had a murderous run against us when he was tech's QB

it coincided with the time I was at UGA....which really sucked given i had an uncle who played for tech in the 60's

You know, I honestly think Spurrier gets far too much credit for being a great nemesis of the Dawgs than what he truely deserves. When he was at Florida, he never coached against Georgia while Georgia was good. The only two teams in the 90s that we fielded that were on par with normal Georgia standards, we went 1-1 against him (the Ziere/Hurst team that beat Ohio State, and the Donnan team that only lost 2 games). He ran the 3rd best program of the 90s (behind FSU and Nebraska) and the greatest SEC dynasty since Georgia in the early 80s, at a time when the Dawgs were recovering from the Jan Kemp scandle and were doing good if they could finish the season with fewer than 5 losses. We sucked in the 90s. Dominating us during the Goff/Donnan eras doesn't get you super arch-villian of all time status, in my book.

I actually think Spurrier is a much bigger thorn in our side now at South Carolina than he ever was at Florida. Now, when he beats us, it usually costs us an opportunity to play for the nc/sec championship. Much more has been at stake with Georgia-South Carolina in the 2000s than with Georgia-Florida in the 90s.

Guess I would have to say Bobby Dodd. Had our number for eight straight years. Longest winning streak between UGA and GT. Personally, had a lot of respect for Bobby Dodd, man of class. Really glad to see Cutcliffe leave UT, he seemed to work miracles against the Red and Black. Steve Spurrier, whether he played against our best or not, he sure as heck made a lot of enemies in the State of Georgia (and Florida, eh wlayton)kicking our butts. I am glad that Spurrier is at South Carolina now, gives UGA a chance to play a little pay back.
