Goose, The colors are going to stay red, black, silver and uncluttered with ads. Except you forgot to mention the 2 green hedges down each side.

Thanks for the help explaining link baiting. It has become a serious problem on forums in the past 2-3 years. It creates what we Internet folks refer to as \"Internet noise\" that interferes with the actual discussions. It will go away as the blogging fad fades.

There are plenty of good sites these days that are deserving of links.

I see we have a discussion going with a couple of sites mentioned. Keep it up.

I put the RSS feed to Rivals.com above the forum. When you click on a link you have to register for a free trial to read the article. I am going to take it back down.

The \"free trial\" is one where they take your credit card and if you don't cancel during the \"free trial\" they bill you every month until cancelled.

This is the type of site I do not like to link to and have had many complaints about since folks tink I am trying to get money out of them.

Rivals.comm needs to be on the banned link list. It will be OK to quote them and give them credit but you need to bring into our forum what you want folks to read so they don't have to pay to see it. This does not mean to violate copyrights, it means to use short meaningful quotes and give the writer and publisher credit. Add your own comments.

Thats one of the guidelines we use, you can't be required to pay to join and read the linked article.

Another guideline is it can't be to a free blogging site where thousands of folks try to get you to read ads they don't even get paid for. Those are usually very low quality articles. If you must reference one quote it and give credit.

If you quote and give credit we all can participate and those who want to go over to read the actual article can do so by reading the credit.

Credits are usually in this format \"writer,publisher\"
